Hot and sunny, a bit of snow left, won't last long...

Hiked from the bus stop all the way to the summit of Predigstuhl via the Waxrieglsteig, only one or two small patches of snow on the way.

On the plateau at the top, there is still snow, and good conditions, in the middle of grass and bushes. I didn't have to take the skis off (apart for the skins), but had to zig-zag between snow patches in a few places.

Skied SW from Predigtstuhl down to the houses around 1680m, there's a tongue of snow that was a bit icy in the morning,

Skinned up to Heukuppe from the E side.

Skied down the Karl Luke to 1650m: perfect snow

Skinned back up to Predigtstuhl

Skied down the Langermann Rinne, snow was still good but getting soft. Had to take the skis off for 2-3 meters towards the end. Took the skis off around 1550m

Walked all the way down.

There were quite a few people walking on the grass, as most ridges are free of snow. Funny feeling to be skiing next to hikers.
