Weather
Hot. Very hot. Clear night, but snow didn't freeze well over night. Very soft by 9am, many avalanches by 11 (but not really on the path)
Conditions
Cycling for 22km from the nearest train station (Bruck an der Glocknerstrasse) 755m, up to 1650m
Then walk until 2100m and ski without problems (well, very soft snow) from there on.
Spent one night in the Schwarzenberghutte.
The snow didn't freeze so well during the night, but got better in altitude.
Few small crevasses starting to show under the Gruberscharte. Many avalanches from both sides: coming down from Hohe Dock, and from Klockerin.
Soft snow on the way down, but very enjoyable, lots of "sloofs" when turning. Snow very soft around 2300m, and a bit better lower down (packed by avalanches).
Timing
day 1:
Bike: Bruck train station 11:00 -> Ferleiten 12:00 -> Eichhornruhe 14:00

day 2:

First veloski outing :) and last skiing of the season :(
The cycling up would have been nicer if it wasn't so hot. A farmer complained that I was cycling in the mountain, told me that "accidents happen". I met some people coming down who told me that sometimes the tyres are punctured when the bikes are left in the mountains... so don't leave your bike too visible.
The gate on the track was locked on the way down though... (but easy to go around).
Skiing was very enjoyable, just don't stop on the tracks coming down, as a lot of snow slides downs slowly behind you :)
Had a few funny looks in the train and on the road, as I was the only one with skis on the bike :) Especially that it was 35 degrees in Vienna...
(GPS track only for second day)

Nice one !
Pity that some people hate bikes like this, maybe there are reasons behind this ?
Good you did not have any problem…
Have a nice season !

No idea why they don’t like bikes, maybe they think we scare the goats?
