From Grenoble by bike to the Col de Vence, on skis up to the plateau of Mt. Rachais (close to where 1014m is signed on the IGN map) following the dirt road. Same way back.

Clear until Col de Vence, then cloudy. The few times the moonlight illuminated the snow a magic ambience covered the scenery. Dense fog during the first minutes of the descent.

The roads were cleared and even on the descent not iced. Anyway, I was riding carefully, not exceeding 20km/h.
Progress on skis easy thanks to a well-trod track.
